Here is were we name things that will be in the Earthland Realms project created by Vermeers and me. If you can think of any suggestions, please post them. Not all will be accepted.
KEY: If it is in green text, it means it officially is in the game. If it is in red text, the idea has been cancelled. If it is in yellow text, it is unknown.
TOWN NAMES AND FORESTS -Moonshine City -Elktros -Welsh Forest -Hellfield -Backtrone City -Slendertown -Evergreen Forest -Elewon Forest -Blackbranch Forest -Forged Forest (the evil bastard)
WEAPONS -Swords -Bow and Arrows/Crossbows -Axe -Mace -Hammers and Mallets -Knives and Daggers -Staves -Offhands -Wands
LANDSCAPES -Big hills with lots of trees. -Flat towns -Rivers and Creeks
ARMOURY -Rough Cloth -Rough Leather -Rusty Mail -Rusty Plate
ENEMIES -Goblins -Dragons -Pigs and farm animals -Wolves -Bears -Skeletons -Ghouls -Ghosts and Spirits (boo! AHH) -Zombies -Slimes???
TRANSPORT -By foot, you idiot. -Bikes (bike shops in certain towns that sell BMX, Mountain and Standard bikes for a reasonable price.) Possibly a friend can also get on the back. -Horses -Broomsticks (Halloween gifts)
CONTROLS AND ACTION BUTTONS -Keys, instead of mouse clicks. -3rd person view. -Somehow you can climb trees. -qsd to run -1234567890 spell keys (maybe add shifts if we need more)
SKILLS -Dragon Slaying -Tailoring -Leatherworking (and skinning) -Smithing and Mining -Enchanting -Craftsman -Lumberjack -Animal training

CHAT AND COMMUNICATION -Maybe a teamspeak line? (requiring a mic or headset) -Standard Text Chat
Armoury: -Ruff Cloth -Ruff Leather -Rusty Mail -Rusty Plate ( All of these armours i should think of beeing standert armours you can find in the lower lvl area's ) - For the rest of armours.. We just need special names like : "Enchanted cloth belt", "Gloves of the Profit", "Boots of the Traveler", Etc...
Transport: -By foot indeed. -Instead of bikes i would say: Horses.. ( Just travelings between city's from a travel Agent.. Perhaps laters you can buy horses, Well work it out ) -Magic Brooms!
Controls and Action Buttons. -Mouse and Keyboard, Standart Buttonsmash RPG. Probably the basic z qsd = To run. 1234567890 = For spells.. Perhaps a 2nd action bar that you can aquire with Shift.
And yes, Evryone will be yellow and where thinking about creating "cartoon" like people.. Not to detailed and standart lined.. Will save us a shitload of work.
Enemies: -Wolves, bears, boars, etc ( Normal animals as basic lvl 1-10 enemies ) -Skeletons, Gouls, Zombies. -Slimes -Dragons -Bosses ( i dno what to make of this yet )
Chat and Communication: -Standert Chat system Ingame -Perhaps put up a TS Server or Ventrillo Server. But these are things for later :)
Later well ask for Area names for sertain lands or country's :) Keep it coming people!
Skills: -tailoring ( for cloth ) -Leatherworking ( for leather ) + Skining ( skin animals ) -Blacksmithing ( Plate and Mail ) + Mining ( Mine Ores ) -Enchanting ( to add special effects to sertain parts of your armor ) -Craftsman ( Weapon Crafter ) + Lumberjack ( Cut wood ) .. Metal required for the swords and all in this skill you need to buy from Minners.. = Trading buisness.
Others: -Perhaps the chance to open a small market with goods you have on you that are for sale. -Evryone will have a storage bank.
-Backpacks of 50 slots ( standarts ) .. Others can be made.
.. I don't know about the Bikes thou.. Bikes don't really seem Middle age 2 me and ive honestly NEVER seen a bike in a MMORPG.. Atleast not in a descent one. And all i did for 4 years was play MMO's.. ( but thats besides the point )
Classes : -Wizard -Warrior -Assassin. -Clerick
Races: To start we are going with Yellow cartoonlike Humans. Perhaps other later.
I'll add them later. Going to bed now. But I think we could make them pay for more slots in their backpacks. Start with like 15 spots and they could pay to get 50.
Hmm .. nah people won't pay for that. I got better ideas ;) .. MMORPG's are about Farming.. So if they pay to get a better acount we can make it so they get better item drops from creatures and more money drops and stuff like that :) I know how to handle that part.
