Actually a nice function you could add is being able to see who is part of what alliance. IE: go to the alliance page click TEC and up comes the list of all the members in TEC. Also if you could do a search where you could itemize players by how much gold they had would be great as well.

The alliance thing is a good idea and might not be too hard to implement.
I think the sort by gold thing would make it too hard to save up for upgrades.
Lets see... Maybe Supporter Status gets 1.5 turns every 15 minutes while everyone else gets 1 or 2.5 and 2 if you want to up the turns.
On the giveaway, how about an EBgames gift card(you figure out the amount of money to put on it), since people are throwing out Wii, Xbox, PS3. This way the winner could get what they want.
